Referees Wanted
The West Islip Soccer Club is now accepting
applications for the 2008-2009 soccer seasons. The Referee Program is open to boys and girls who have reached their 13th birthday by August 1, 2008. The Club referee program provides referees for our in house program, Inter-town program and Assistant Referee Program (Separate Certification Course required) in the LIJSL Travel Program. If you are interested and are able to commit the time, please fill out the attached application and mail it to: West Islip Soccer Club Director of Referees 69 Sylvia Drive West Islip NY 11795 All applications are currently being accepted to be considered for the fall season. FIFA rules are referred to as The Laws of the Game and are summarized
in The Summary of The Laws of the Game.The Appendix Rules of Play are modified rules for the various age groups. For those teams participating in the Suffolk Soccer InterLeague, scrimmages are Governed by FIFA; with those modified by Suffolk Soccer Interleague
